Change the orientation of a text object

1. On the workspace or in the object list, select the text object.
   
   
2. Do one of the following:
   • If the Text workpane is closed, click Format Text on the Text menu.
     
     
   • If the Text workpane is open, click Format Text at the top of the workpane.
3. At the top of the workpane, click Text Flow.
   
   
4. Do one of the following:
   • To orient the text object vertically, click Vertical.
     
     
   • To orient the object horizontally, click Horizontal.
